Studies on the Mode of Action of HC-toxin(I)

Abstract
|
|
|
The mode of action of host-specific HC- toxin was studied. the
alkylation ability of HC-toxin to a bionucleophile, such as DNA, was
proved by fluorescence spectrometry. However, the alkylation was not
specific for isolated DNA from susceptible genotype of maize.
